For over 140 years, St. Mary Catholic School has been educating the students in the Newton, KS community. St. Mary's strives to offer a thoroughly Catholic edcuation, forming the whole person. Our Catholic faith serves as the foundation for everything taught in the classroom, and our students regulary participate in the prayer and sacramental life of the Church. We have all school Mass three days a week, monthly Eucharisitc adoration in the school chapel, and students receive the sacrmant of Confession once every quarter. Over the years, as the school grew in its enrollment, two new school buildings were constructed. The latest building, built in 1958, was added on to in 2010 to allow all the students to be located in the same building. St. Mary's Catholic School serves as a pillar of the parish and the larger community.
