St. Anthony Academy
Fairfax, Virginia
Our Mission
Our mission is to educate students in wisdom and virtue through a classical education in harmony with Catholic tradition. We seek the formation of the whole child—mind, body, and soul—by cultivating a love for truth, goodness, and beauty. Instruction is rooted in the liberal arts, the study of great works of Western civilization, and the teachings of the Catholic faith, including the foundational instruction of the Baltimore Catechism. Through daily prayer, including a student-led Rosary, the practice of traditional Catholic devotions, and intentional moral formation, we aim to foster habits of discipline, reverence, and responsibility. Students are encouraged to grow in knowledge, humility, and charity as they develop both intellectually and personally. Our goal is to prepare students not only for academic excellence, but for lives of integrity and service—forming young men and women capable of clear thinking, virtuous action, and faithful leadership.
About Our School
St. Anthony Academy is an independent classical preK to 8th grade school in harmony with Catholic tradition, dedicated to forming both the minds and souls of its students. Through small class sizes and close attention to each child, we cultivate habits of virtue and foster a love for what is true, good, and beautiful.
Rooted in time-tested methods of the classical tradition, our approach emphasizes strong language, logical thinking, and confident expression. Students engage deeply with great works of literature, history, and art, developing clarity of thought, strength of character, and a lifelong love of learning.
