Ave Maria Academy
Columbus, Ohio
Our Mission
Rooted in our Catholic identity and our deep belief in the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, our school exists to form disciples of Christ who grow in communion with God and one another, and who with their families practice an unwavering commitment to our faith and academic excellence.
About Our School
Ave Maria Academy, the newest school in the Diocese of Columbus, will open in the 2026–2027 academic year. Rooted in the rich intellectual, spiritual, and cultural traditions of the Catholic Church, Ave Maria Academy is dedicated to forming students in wisdom, virtue, and academic excellence through a classical Catholic education.
Beginning in August 2026, the Academy will welcome students in Preschool and Kindergarten, adding one grade level each year until serving students through Grade 8. As part of the Bishop Watterson feeder pattern, Ave Maria Academy seeks to prepare young scholars not only for future academic success but also for lives of faith, leadership, and service to Christ and His Church.
