Our Mission Statement
Saint Michael School is a PreK-12 Catholic, co-educational day school, founded in 1874 to assist parents in the education and formation of their children through the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church.

SMS believes that “the soul of education is the education of the soul,” (Pope Pius XI). It is our mission to promote and nurture the spiritual, intellectual, and physical growth and talents of our students through a classical liberal arts course of study.

Our Vision
St. Michael’s Catholic School administers an integrated program of classical education, taught in the light of the Catholic faith, to students PreK-12.
In offering this education SMS provides our students and their families an integrated and coherent education, one which addresses the most profound human needs of our students while meeting the demanding practical exigencies of a new century.
In so doing, SMS imparts an education of such intrinsic merit and character that an SMS graduate will be well prepared for a productive and satisfying life on any path he chooses, be it a collegiate education, a professional program, a technical certification, a vocational school or a vocation to religious life.
