Teaching Position
Tiny Knights Preschool is looking for a caring, energetic, and reliable Preschool Teacher to join our team! We are seeking a Teacher who is passionate about early child education and enjoys working with children ages 2-5.
This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and benefits.
Brief Job Description:
-Planning daily developmentally appropriate activities for children ages 2-5.
-Prepare weekly lesson plans that support children’s emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
-Follow and uphold the Philosophy and Policies of Tiny Knights Preschool.
-Incorporate the school’s philosophy into daily routines and classroom activities.
-Conduct parent conferences, and maintain child assessments and portfolios for each child.
-Engage children through meaningful conversations and open-ended questions.
-Foster a “process over product” approach to learning.
-Ensure the safety and well-being of all children through active supervision.
– Understand and support each child’s individual needs, including allergies, toileting and developmental milestones.
-Assist children with toilet training and diapering as needed.
-Redirect a child if they have a problem.
Requirements:
-Minimum 12 ECE Units, including all core classes required by licensing.
-CPR and First Aid certified.
-Fingerprint clearance, TB clearance & health screening.
-Knowledge of Play Based approach
-Experience in a 2-5 year old child care setting.
-Energetic, dependable and team- oriented.
-Strong communication and classroom management skills.
-Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively participate in classroom activities, including kneeling, squatting, and sitting on the floor.

Pay Range:
$22.50-$33.50 (dependent on qualifications)
