The Summit Academy is an independent Catholic school for students in grades 6–12. Founded in 2016, The Summit is a board-managed institution committed to a classical education that forms the intellect, character, and spiritual life of students. Leadership at The Summit requires not only professional competence, but also a pastoral sensibility—an ability to know students personally, guide families wisely, and steward a culture that is ordered, humane, and mission-driven.

The Summit Academy seeks a Dean of Student Life who will serve as a senior leader responsible for student formation, family partnership, and the culture of the school. This position is designed as a leadership development role with defined pathway toward promotion to Head of Middle School within a two-year timeframe.

  • Overseeing student discipline and restorative practices
  • Counseling students and partnering with families on student life matters
  • Supporting faculty in student formation and classroom culture
  • Managing quarterly reviews and parent-teacher meetings
  • Upholding and modeling the mission of Catholic education
