The Hawthorn School is seeking an enthusiastic and academically accomplished teacher to instruct our 4th-grade boys next year. The Hawthorn School is an independent, Catholic school whose mission is to partner with families for the holistic formation of their children.
The responsibilities include:
– Teaching a variety of classes (Math, Language Arts, P.E., History, Nature Study, and Religion)
– Serving as a role model and mentor
– Establishing partnership and trust with the boys’ families
We are looking for someone who is:
– faithful to the tenets of morality taught by the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, which the School respects and venerates with loyalty
– Interested in the personal formation of the boys he teaches
– Comfortable communicating and partnering with families
– Competent in a range of academic subjects.
The role begins in late August 2026.
The position includes a competitive salary and benefits, paid time off, and the opportunity to earn additional income throughout the summer.
