The Hawthorn School is seeking enthusiastic and academically accomplished teachers to instruct our elementary and middle school boys next year. The Hawthorn School is an independent, Catholic school whose mission is to partner with families for the holistic formation of their children.
The responsibilities include:
– Teaching a variety of classes (Math, Language Arts, P.E., History, Nature Study, and Religion)
– Serving as a role model and mentor to a group of 8-10 boys
– Establishing partnership and trust with the boys’ families
We are looking for someone who is:
– faithful to the tenets of morality taught by the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, which the School respects and venerates with loyalty
– Interested in the personal formation of the boys he teaches
– Comfortable communicating and partnering with families
– Competent in a range of academic subjects.
The role begins in late August 2026.
The position includes a competitive salary and benefits, school vacation, and the opportunity to earn additional income throughout the summer.
