JOB DESCRIPTION:
St. Timothy Catholic School is a TK-8 Roman Catholic elementary school located in San Mateo, CA. Inspired by Gospel values, we serve the children of our parish and neighboring communities, working in partnership with our school families to create a positive and safe learning environment where students develop their skills as loving Christians, innovative learners, giving citizens, humble individuals, and thoughtful communicators.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
● Minimum of a 4-year undergraduate degree, advanced degree desired
● Valid California multiple-subject credential preferred
● Experience and passion for teaching elementary school-age students
● Desire to embrace the Catholic ethos of the school and promote the Catholic spiritual development of students
● Strong unit, lesson, and assessment planning abilities aligned with elementary core content standards.
● Knowledge of differentiated instruction and working with students with diverse learning needs
● Ability to innovatively integrate technology into instruction daily
● Strong classroom management skills
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Sense of humor and willingness to be flexible and supportive of the overall school program
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Salary commensurate with the Archdiocese of San Francisco Elementary Salary Scale; medical/dental benefits eligible; $54,500-$104,931 (full-time position).
