Middle School Teacher (Grades 6–8)

St. Thomas More Academy is seeking a full-time Middle School Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic year. The successful candidate will join a faculty of friends committed to assisting parents in forming their children into saints through the Catholic Liberal Arts Tradition within an authentic Catholic culture. Depending on school needs and candidate strengths, this position may involve teaching multiple core subjects, including literature, history, theology, Latin, natural sciences, and mathematics. The Middle School Teacher will teach within the classical tradition, presenting all subjects as part of an ordered and coherent whole that reflects the unity of faith and reason. The teacher will cultivate intellectual wonder, disciplined habits of study, moral virtue, and spiritual maturity while serving as a joyful and faithful witness to Catholic life.

A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in the Liberal Arts or a related discipline. Teaching experience is preferred, particularly in classical education, though formation will be provided for mission-aligned candidates. Applicants must be practicing Catholics in good standing and willing to take an Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium.
