In its founding year, St. Peter the Apostle Catholic School is seeking a dedicated team of faithful teachers who desire to cultivate a love of learning and a love of the Catholic faith in young souls through the richness of the Catholic intellectual tradition. Our school will open for the 2025-2026 school year with grades PK3-6th (initial grade levels will be enrollment-dependent) and will ultimately expand to 7th and 8th grade in the following years.
The Instructional Assistant fulfills the mission of the Catholic school by assisting the classroom teacher in planning, guiding, and educating students in a loving, Christ-centered environment. The Instructional Assistant assists the classroom teacher in evaluating the learning process of the students in the Catholic school for whom the teacher is responsible within the framework of the school’s philosophy, organization, and curriculum. The Instructional Assistant helps the teacher prepare instructional materials, assists with students, and supports learning activities that have been defined by the teacher.
Instructional Assistants will work primarily in PK3, PK4, and Kindergarten classrooms.
