Headmaster St. Joseph Academy Auburn

St. Joseph Academy in Auburn, AL will be a new 7th-12th grade school endeavoring to open in the Fall of 2028 with 7th (+/- 8th grade).  Over the next two years we will be seeking the perfect Headmaster to lead our school in the nuts and bolts of day-to-day campus operations beginning in 2028.  Requirements include prior experience in education in a Catholic liberal arts school, excellent leadership skills, and enthusiasm for the mission.  The Headmaster will work closely with the Founder and Board of Directors regarding the curriculum and school culture.  Until the school grows to full capacity, it is expected that the Headmaster will also teach part-time in addition to his/her administrative duties.  Assistance with fundraising endeavors is expected, with a willingness to speak to parish groups, parents, and the local community in support of the school and the mission of Catholic liberal education.  Personal experience with starting a new school or connections in this regard would be helpful.  Applicants should be practicing Catholics in good standing who love the Church and are enthusiastic about her educational mission.  This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a great mission from the ground-up!
