Job Description – Elementary Teacher

St. John Catholic Academy—Bay County’s only Catholic school serving Preschool through 8th Grade—is seeking a dedicated elementary teacher with experience in classical education. This experience may come from teaching in a classical setting or from being educated in one. Our academy forms students both intellectually and spiritually through a Classical Liberal Arts model that nurtures wisdom, virtue, and a lifelong love of truth.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four‑year college or university
Eligibility for temporary certification (learn more at fldoe.org/teaching/certification)
Experience with classical education—either through teaching or personal academic formation—strongly preferred
