The Teacher will: ● Have experience with curriculum and lesson planning middle school Social Studies & Religion. (6th, 7th and 8th) ● Assess and report students’ progress to their families ● Support all students in a nurturing classroom and school environment ● Contribute and collaborate with level teachers to strengthen the Middle School Team. ● Cover school yard supervision duties and other duties as scheduled ● Attend faculty and assigned committee meetings as scheduled ● Support other duties as assigned Required Skills & Qualifications: ● Possession of a valid California teaching credential or a credential from another state ● Preferable experience with Middle School Social Studies and Religion Curriculum ● Pre-employment fingerprinting and background check screenings ● Willingness to follow all COVID site safety protocols ● Deep understanding of the Catholic faith and the mission of Catholic schools ● Ability to use tact, discretion, and confidentiality with student and school information ● Ability to effectively interact with a diverse community of learners, educators, and families. Preferred Skills & Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s degree in education or related field ● Preferred fluency in Spanish ● Preferable at least three years prior teaching experience ● Proficient in G-Suite, Amplify Science, Freckle, Zoom, and similar teaching software Salary & Benefits: This is a full-time, exempt position with a competitive salary based on the Archdiocese of San Francisco pay scale. Benefits include comprehensive medical and vision coverage and opportunities for professional development and spiritual growth. $62,194 – $82,528 base salary commensurate with experience.
