St. Gabriel the Archangel School is seeking a part-time music teacher for the 2026-2027 Academic Year. Partnering with parents in their role as primary educators, St. Gabriel the Archangel School extends the mission of the Church in forming true disciples of Jesus Christ. Through a Catholic Classical Liberal Arts education centered on Christ, we provide an integrated approach fostering a love for truth, beauty, and goodness. We seek to instill a natural desire for wisdom and virtue in all scholars.
Position Objective
The music teacher is responsible for the spiritual, academic, social, and emotional development of students in a Christ-centered learning environment. The teacher integrates Catholic values into daily instruction, fosters a culture of faith and academic excellence, and collaborates with colleagues and families to support student learning and formation. The teacher serves as a role model of the Catholic faith and supports the mission and vision of the school and the Diocese of Kansas City–St. Joseph.
This position may be combined with the parish’s part-time Sacred Music Director role for a qualified candidate, offering the possibility of benefits.
