To assist parents in their sacred duty as the primary educators of their children.

We do this by providing a challenging and integrated Catholic liberal arts education; focused on Truth, Goodness, and Beauty imbued with the rich traditions of the Catholic faith. Our goal is not only academic excellence but to form children as joyful and virtuous disciples of Christ.

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university
• Hold a valid Colorado State Teacher’s License endorsed in the area of assignment, or be actively working toward alternative certification
• Passing score on the Colorado PLACE or PRAXIS II examination in the appropriate content area
• Demonstrated expertise in history instruction
• Practicing Catholic preferred, committed to supporting the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church

Performance Responsibilities

• Share fully in the religious mission of the school
• Teach in a manner consistent with the academic, social, moral, and religious teachings of the Catholic Church
• Foster a classroom culture rooted in Catholic virtue, charity, discipline, and respect
• Teach history through a classical Catholic lens that emphasizes wisdom, virtue, Western Civilization, and the dignity of the human person
• Engage students through thoughtful discussion, primary sources, writing, narration, and Socratic inquiry
• Use a variety of appropriate instructional strategies, materials, and learning activities to accommodate diverse learning needs and diocesan curriculum requirements
• Guide student learning to increase academic achievement and cultivate intellectual curiosity
  Create a positive, structured, and student-centered classroom environment
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and organizational skills
  Collaborate effectively with faculty, administration, and parents in support of student formation and success
• Bring energy, creativity, flexibility, and professionalism to the school community
