St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School is a 3K – Grade 8 elementary and middle school serving the north side of Sheboygan, Wisconsin. We are supported by Holy Name of Jesus, St. Dominic, and St. Clement Parishes and have provided Catholic education in Sheboygan for over 150 years. We are committed to providing a strong academic faith-based education supported by our foundation of faith, virtue, and family.

The ideal 4K teaching candidate is a practicing Catholic with experience developing lesson plans that focus on early reading and math skills, language development, and social and emotional growth in a play-based environment.

Required Qualifications:
1. Practicing Catholic
2. Licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction to be a 4K teacher
3. Strong written and oral communication skills
4. Thorough knowledge of principles and techniques of Early Childhood Education

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with or knowledge of PBIS
2. Training in and experience with Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards

Duties:

Curriculum & Instruction:  Plan and lead daily, hands-on activities focusing on early literacy, numeracy, and motor skills.

Assessment:  Conduct assessments on child development, including mandatory screening in fall and spring.

Classroom Management:  Maintain a safe, nurturing environment that follows Wisconsin licensing and the Archdiocese of Milwaukee’s standards.

Family Engagement:  Build relationships with families through conferences, emails, and newsletters.

Collaboration:  Work with the Principal, staff, community partners, and classroom aids to support student needs.
