Seton LaSalle Catholic High School is seeking a mission-driven, hard-working, dedicated, self-starter to join our school community as our Assistant Principal/Dean of Students. This individual should have a passion for Catholic education and a strong desire to be part of a team. The position reports to the Principal.
The Assistant Principal/Dean of Students serves as a key contributor on the administrative team in ensuring that the school community remains faithful and focused on the school’s mission. The primary purpose of this role is to assist the Principal with the organization of both the academic program and enrich the overall student life. The Assistant Principal/Dean of Students may be assigned duties in the operation of the school as the Principal identifies new goals and objectives each school year. Generally, the Assistant Principal/Dean of Students monitors and manages the academic, disciplinary, and
attendance systems in cooperation with teachers and counselors to ensure student success and academic excellence.
The Assistant Principal/Dean of Students has the same responsibility as the Principal for achieving the mission of the school by maintaining and developing a school strong in academic achievement, counseling and guidance services, and ministry programs, and by providing ample programs to meet the co-curricular and extra-curricular needs of the students.
The Assistant Principal/Dean of Students works as a part of the Administrative Team to respond with one voice to the needs of all students and to advise the Principal with any information necessary when responding to all stakeholders.
