Elementary School Teacher (2026–2027 School Year) St. Raymond Catholic School | Menlo Park, California
St. Raymond Catholic School, a Junior Kindergarten–Grade 8 parish school, is seeking a dedicated elementary teacher to join our team. We are committed to academic excellence, strong instructional practices, and fostering a supportive, faith-fi lled environment that nurtures the whole child.
Job Requirements:
● Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) required
● Valid California Teaching Credential (or reciprocal credential from another state)
○ Candidates without a California credential must obtain one within fi ve years of hire
● Fingerprinting & Background Clearance (upon job off er)
● Safe Environment Training (upon hire)
● CPR & First Aid Training (provided by the school)
● A practicing Catholic committed to supporting the school’s mission and Catholic identity (encouraged)
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Experience with curriculum planning and diff erentiated instruction
● Ability to eff ectively integrate technology into instruction
● Strong classroom management and organizational skills

Responsibilities:
● Serve as a homeroom teacher, including attendance, prayer, communication with families, and daily classroom routines
● Plan and deliver standards-based instruction aligned with Diocesan guidelines and California Common Core Standards
● Design engaging lessons with clear objectives, diff erentiation, and measurable outcomes
● Provide high-quality instruction using a variety of instructional strategies, including small-group instruction
● Assess and grade student work in a timely manner, providing meaningful feedback
● Maintain accurate records in the Educate Gradebook system
● Communicate regularly with parents through conferences, emails, and progress reports
● Collaborate with the Targeted Learning team to support diverse learners and implement accommodations
● Integrate technology (Google Classroom, devices, educational tools) to enhance instruction
● Administer and analyze STAR assessments to guide instruction
● Foster a structured, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment
● Support and promote a faith-fi lled Catholic environment within the classroom and school
● Collaborate with colleagues and work eff ectively with instructional aides
● Participate in school duties, events, meetings, and committees
● Perform additional duties as assigned
Benefi ts:
● Salary based on Archdiocese of San Francisco guidelines: $54,500 – $104,931

Schedule:
● School Year: 180 days (mid-August to early June)
● Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
