Art Teacher (Grades JK–8) St. Raymond Catholic School | Menlo Park, California
St. Raymond Catholic School, a Junior Kindergarten–Grade 8 parish school, is seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to inspire students and foster artistic expression. The ideal candidate will bring strong content knowledge, creativity, and a commitment to engaging students of varying ages and skill levels in a supportive, faith-fi lled environment.
Job Requirements:
● Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education or related fi eld (Master’s preferred)
● Teaching experience in art education preferred
● Strong knowledge of art history, techniques, and mediums
● Ability to diff erentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
● Strong classroom management and organizational skills
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Commitment to fostering creativity and student engagement
● Understanding of and support for Catholic education
● Fingerprinting & Background Clearance (upon job off er)
● Safe Environment Training (upon hire)
● CPR & First Aid Training (provided by the school)

Responsibilities:
● Develop and implement an engaging, standards-based art curriculum aligned with grade-level expectations
● Teach art to students in grades JK–8, incorporating drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media
● Diff erentiate instruction to support a range of student abilities and learning styles
● Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and risk-taking
●Assess student progress through portfolios, projects, and observation, providingmeaningful feedback
●Integrate art across the curriculum and collaborate with colleagues oninterdisciplinary learning
●Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroomactivities
●Maintain organized classroom systems and instructional materials
●Support and promote a faith-fi lled environment within the classroom and school
●Participate in school programs, meetings, and community events
●Perform additional duties as assigned
