Job Description
St. Anne School is seeking a faith-filled educator and music leader to serve as Music Teacher /
Liturgical and Choral Coordinator. This role is focused on helping students develop a love and
appreciation for music while building foundational skills in rhythm, melody, and vocal
expression. The teacher will create an engaging, structured classroom environment while also
supporting the liturgical life of the school through music.
Responsibilities
Teach engaging, age-appropriate music classes for students in grades PreK–8
Develop students’ skills in rhythm, melody, singing, and musical expression
Create a structured and engaging classroom environment that fosters a love of music
Teach and prepare students in traditional and contemporary Catholic liturgical music
Support student participation in school Masses, liturgies, and prayer services

Assist teachers and staff in preparing music for school-wide celebrations
Develop and direct a school choir program as it grows
Prepare students to sing at selected Family Masses throughout the year
Lead preparation for the annual Christmas Pageant held at the church
Support participation in Archdiocesan music events and festivals when appropriate
Collaborate with faculty and administration to integrate music into school life
Perform duties as outlined in the Faculty Handbook and as assigned by the Principal
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Music, Music Education, or related field required
Experience teaching music to children preferred
Ability to lead vocal music and basic choral instruction
Familiarity with Catholic liturgical music preferred
Strong classroom management and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Commitment to Catholic education and school mission
