Reports to Pastor of Peace of Christ Parish and Superintendent

Wage: position starting at $63k/annual (with NYS Certification as a School Building Leader or School District Leader)

Seeking a principal committed to Catholic Education who can effectively lead the school in fulfillment of the school’s mission to nurture the faith and intellect of students in grades Pre-k through five in Rochester.

The principal serves as the spiritual and instructional leader of the school and is responsible for all aspects of school operations.  Qualified candidates must have an understanding of the New York State Learning Standards and possess or be working towards certification as a School Building Leader and/or School District Leader.

Qualifications:

1. Practicing Catholic in good standing;

2. Possess or working toward certificaiton as a School Building Leader and/or School District Leader;

3. Experience as an elementary teacher and/or administrator;

4. Experience with curriculum development;

5. Experience with staff development

6. Strong communication skills with a variety of stakeholders;

7. Proficient with current instructional technology practices.
