Regina Luminis Academy, a classical school in the Catholic liberal arts tradition, seeks a Director of Admissions who is dedicated to advancing the mission of the school by attracting, evaluating, and enrolling families who will thrive in and contribute to the Academy’s community. The ideal candidate will approach admissions as both a professional and a ministry, guiding families with clarity, warmth, and fidelity to the school’s classical Catholic identity.

Job Summary

The Director of Admissions is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the school’s admissions process, from inquiry and application through enrollment. This role includes managing prospective student outreach, coordinating tours and admissions events, evaluating applications, and serving as a primary point of contact for families discerning a classical Catholic education. The Director of Admissions works collaboratively with school leadership to advance enrollment goals while maintaining the integrity of Regina Luminis Academy’s mission and culture.

Specific Responsibilities

Develop and implement admissions strategies to attract families aligned with the school’s classical Catholic mission.
Manage the full admissions process, including inquiries, applications, interviews, testing, and enrollment decisions.
Coordinate and conduct tours, open houses, and other recruitment events for prospective families.
Serve as the primary liaison with prospective students and families, providing guidance and clear information about the school’s programs and expectations.
Evaluate applications in collaboration with faculty and administration.
Maintain accurate records of prospective and admitted students, application trends, and communications.
Collaborate with marketing, development, and communications teams to promote the school effectively.
Represent Regina Luminis Academy professionally at conferences, fairs, and community events.
Provide data and reports to school leadership to support strategic enrollment planning.
Support the integration of new families into the school community to foster a welcoming and mission-aligned culture.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong understanding of admissions processes, enrollment management, and family engagement.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to guide and counsel families effectively.
Strong organizational and project management skills, including attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Professional demeanor and discretion, particularly in handling sensitive information.
Appreciation for classical education and the Catholic liberal arts tradition.
Commitment to the teachings and moral vision of the Catholic Church.
Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and school leadership.
Proficiency with database management, CRM systems, and standard office technology.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Education, Administration, or a related field preferred.
Significant experience in school admissions, enrollment management, or related fields required.
Experience in Catholic or classical schools is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with independent school best practices, marketing, and recruitment strategies is highly desirable.
