The Music Teacher serves students in Pre-K through 8th grade by cultivating a love for sacred music, beauty, and the rich musical tradition of the Catholic Church within a classical liberal arts framework. The teacher forms students in musical skill, aesthetic appreciation, and liturgical participation, helping them encounter truth, goodness, and beauty through music.
Must be a Roman Catholic in good standing with considerable knowledge and familiarity of the Roman Catholic liturgy and an ability to integrate the liturgy with musical skills so that the liturgical music component of worship can be celebrated.
