Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who are faithful, practicing Catholics with a heart for service. Teacher licensure/state certification is not required for this position. This role would be an excellent fit for those who are just starting their journey in Catholic education or experienced educators.

About Pope John Paul II Academy and the Montrose Community:
Founded in 2008, Pope John Paul II Academy serves students from PreK-8th Grade. We are an independent, private Academy in the Catholic tradition located in the scenic mountain valley of Montrose, Colorado. We are a stone’s throw away from the Black Canyon and some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country! Our school is a 16,000+ sq. ft. facility which includes 10 classrooms, a library, and a full sized gym on twenty acres of land. In 2014, the school received full accreditation from NAPCIS (National Association of Private, Catholic, and Independent Schools). The faculty is a dynamic, faithful team of committed Catholic Christians living for God’s greater glory as we strive to live the New Evangelization inspired by St. Pope John Paul II.
