Full-Time Position: Instructional Aide

Job Description: Our Lady of Angels is seeking an Instructional Aide to assist a grade level classroom teacher in the
instructional process for the school year. Responsibilities include reinforcing and supporting instruction to an individual or
small groups of students in a classroom environment, assisting in the preparation of instructional materials and
implementation of lesson plans, correcting papers, and performing other duties as assigned by the principal and
homeroom teacher.
Schedule: Monday – Friday: 8:30 – 2:30
Adjusted hours on early release days, conference week, and other special schedule days
The position is full time (approximately 30 hours per week)
Duties:
• Reflect the Catholic values taught at Our Lady of Angels School
• Ensure safety of the students in all situations
• Supervise and assist students with homework and day to day needs
• Ability to utilize technology in a classroom environment
• Lead children in indoor and outdoor activities
• Maintain supplies, equipment and materials
• Maintain a clean and organized environment
• Classroom management skills
• Yard duty for recess and lunch
• Possess or attain CPR/AED/First Aid Certification

Job Type: Part-Time: Non-Exempt; 27.5 hours per week.
Hourly Rate: $27.35 per hour based on experience
