4th Grade Teaching Position
Our Lady of Angels Catholic School in Burlingame seeks an enthusiastic teacher for 4th Grade. Must be
committed to carrying out the mission and philosophy of the school in collaboration with a dynamic faculty
group and in partnership with the parents as the primary educators of their children. High-level enthusiasm,
professionalism, flexibility, and competence required. In exchange, the school will provide support and
resources for an experienced or new teacher to develop his or her professional competencies in the context of a
caring community.
JOB TITLE: 4th Grade Teacher
Required Qualifications:
• BA/BS Degree
• Willingness to embrace the Catholic values and traditions of Our Lady of Angels School
• Enthusiasm for teamwork, collaboration, and collective efficacy
• Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience teaching in a Catholic school
• Valid California teaching credential (or equivalent from another state) OR in the process of obtaining a
California Teaching Credential
• Expertise with technology including various devices, Google and smartboards
Responsibilities:
• Support Our Lady of Angels School’s mission, philosophy and SLE’s
• Prepare, deliver and assess (engaging and interactive) lessons/units based on Archdiocesan Curriculum
Guidelines
• Document student learning and report (communicate) regularly to administration and parents
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, students and parents
• Supervise students; maintain good rapport with students and effectively manage the classroom
• Perform all other duties outlined in our Faculty handbook or assigned by the Principal
Salary and Benefits:
Job Type: Full-Time; Exempt position
Salary: $62,194.00 – $103,179 Base range (Advanced Education & Certifications not included)
