Maur Hill-Mount Academy is searching for talented, passionate, and caring faculty members to join our growing team. MH-MA is a Catholic, college prep boarding high school that educates young men and women in the Benedictine tradition. As a domestic and international boarding school, MH-MA also supports the needs and families of the local community and surrounding areas. We partner with families to educate the whole person in a formative education centered on Jesus Christ.
Candidates must satisfy one of two pathways to model content knowledge and teaching effectiveness:
1) Hold a subject matter degree, teaching license, and have demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
Or
2) Hold a master’s degree in the subject matter and have demonstrated teaching effectiveness for a minimum of three years.
A successful candidate is one with a proven ability to inspire a love of their subject and a love of learning in their students. They are faith-filled, collaborative, professional, and a virtuous role model who maintains high academic expectations for students.
The successful candidate can teach courses in any of the following disciplines: Chemistry, Physics, Advanced Math, Physical Education, Health, English, History, Speech/Communication.
