About Mater Dei Education
Mater Dei Education is the only classical homeschooling curriculum in Ireland, offering a complete classical liberal education for students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 10 (Junior Infants to 4th Year).
We provide families with a comprehensive curriculum, live online classes, pre-recorded lessons, and ongoing parent support. Our homeschooling families are based across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, as well as the UK, Spain, and Sweden.
Mater Dei Education is part of the Mater Dei Academy charity, which also operates a Cambridge International School with a physical campus in Cork City, Ireland. The curriculum developed for Mater Dei Education is implemented within Mater Dei Academy, ensuring strong academic continuity between homeschooling and in-school instruction.
Students enrolled in both Mater Dei Education and Mater Dei Academy follow the Cambridge pathway and sit the IGCSE examinations at the end of 4th Year. The final two years of secondary education (Grade 11 and Grade 12) are offered exclusively through Mater Dei Academy.
