Marin Catholic is currently seeking a Long-term Substitute Economics Teacher to teach college preparatory Economics and Advanced Placement Economics. This is an 80% position.
The Long-term Substitute will be supported by the Assistant Principal for Curriculum, Instruction and Catholic Integration and the entire Electives department. Both college preparatory economics and Advanced Placement Economics courses have curriculums already designed yet implementation of the curriculum will be executed by the teacher with the support of the department chair.
Qualifications, credentials, experience, knowledge & skills for the position:
- Degree in Economics, Business or related field
- Catholic high school teaching experience, preferred
- Practicing Catholic in good standing, preferred
- Desire to share his/her faith journey
- Student focused and lifelong learner
- Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, student and staff
- Maintains best professional practices in communicating with peers, students and parents
The annualized salary for this exempt position is $59,093 to $92,830. This position is eligible for benefits including health and dental insurance.
