Koinonia Academy Upper School Long Term Substitute Job Description
Koinonia Academy is looking for a long term mathematics sub who loves the Lord, loves their students, and is willing and able to teach math in the Classical method, infusing the Catholic Faith in all of their teaching. The teachers at KA receive significant support; the key is living a life of Faith, demonstrated competency in the subject field, a willingness to learn about the Classical methods, a rapport with students and colleagues, and an understanding of the mission of the school: to inspire courageous lives of personal holiness, virtue, and wisdom through authentic Catholic Education.
The substitute need would extend from November 2026 to April 2027.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Experience in the classroom is preferred. Candidates should possess a willingness to learn and understand curriculum content, as well as the mission, and identity of Koinonia Academy.
