Koinonia Academy Upper School Math and Science Teacher Job Description 

Koinonia Academy is looking for an enthusiastic mathematics teacher who loves the Lord, loves their students, and is willing and able to teach math in the Classical method, infusing the Catholic Faith in all of their teaching.

Ideally, the candidate would also be open to teaching chemistry.  The position could become a full-time job if the candidate brings other skills to the table, such as teaching Reading and Logic classes.

The teachers at KA receive significant support; the key is living a life of Faith, demonstrated competency in the subject field, a willingness to learn about the Classical methods, a rapport with students and colleagues, and an understanding of the mission of the school: to inspire courageous lives of personal holiness, virtue, and wisdom through authentic Catholic Education.

Part-time position with the possibility of full time employment for the right candidate.

Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.  Experience in the classroom is preferred. Candidates should possess a willingness to learn and understand curriculum content, as well as the mission, and identity of Koinonia Academy.
