2nd Grade Teacher

Immaculata Classical Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and joyful 2nd grade homeroom teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The 2nd grade homeroom teacher is responsible for all subjects except for music and art. A willingness to be trained in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is beneficial.

The ideal candidate is a joyful, faithful Catholic who is passionate about educating children in the Catholic liberal arts tradition and committed to academic excellence. A collegial and collaborative attitude and the ability to teach and manage a class that may include children with special needs is a must. An undergraduate degree is required and teaching experience is preferred, but recent graduates are welcome to apply.

Founded in 2010, Immaculata Classical Academy is an independent Catholic school providing a rigorous liberal arts education to approximately 230 children in the Louisville area from pre-school through high school.
