About Holy Angels Academy:

Holy Angels is a private, independent co-ed Catholic school serving students from 3-year-old Pre-Kindergarten through Grade Twelve. Preschool Teacher Purpose:

The Preschool Teacher, under the general supervision of the Headmaster, designs and implements the preschool program nurturing joy and a love of truth, goodness, and beauty while  and overseeing the preschool teacher’s assistant.

Responsibilities:

• Assists preschool teacher in facilitating succesful and growth in students’ academic and interpersonal skills through implementing Holy Angels Academy’s method and curriculum.
• Support Holy Angels Academy and her mission of providing a faithful and well-rounded Catholic education.
• Assists in executing weekly plans for students.
• Other duties as assigned by preschool teacher or administration.

Qualifications: 

• Passionately Catholic and in full communion with the Magisterium of the Church and the mission of Holy Angels Academy.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred, but not required.
• Experience teaching is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to use discretion, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to effectively communicate, both in verbal and written form, with students, fellow faculty/staff, and parents.
