Green Bay Area Catholic Education- GRACE is looking for passionate educators to join our team for the 2026-27 school year! Our teachers change lives in a thriving Catholic school system that offers a safe, supportive and faith-filled culture to work in.  We are looking for Elementary school teachers at St. John Paul II Classical School for the 2026-27 school year. GRACE teachers are responsible for delivering individualized, age-appropriate, and standards-based content to our learners in a way they can understand, digest, and retain. To do this successfully, teachers must prepare lessons and instructional materials, manage student behavior and discipline, encourage and monitor student progress, and work with coaches, evaluators, and other teachers to improve instruction.
St. John Paul II Classical School provides a classical education rooted in centuries of Catholic faith and tradition. Our academic program encourages students to develop intellectual ability, make moral decisions, and solidify Catholic virtues. Our classical curriculum is led by Catholic teachers who truly care about all of their students. They are attentive to each child’s education and catechetical formation. Core Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons
2. Use proven teaching methods that facilitate student learning
3. Establish and communicate clear learning objectives for all classroom activities
4. Manage student behavior by establishing and enforcing individual classroom, school-based, and district-wide policies and procedures
5. Observe, evaluate, and track student progress
6. Provide updates and feedback to students, parents, curriculum coaches, and other school personnel as needed
7. Maintain accurate and complete student records (including grades, behavioral incidents, and attendance) as required by district policy and state law
8. Collaborate with other teachers, academic coaches, and school administrators to improve instruction
9. Participate in regular professional development to enhance instructional delivery methods and student learning
10. Maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, coworkers and supervisors
11. Managing student behavior
12. Creating a safe, respectful and inclusive classroom environment
13. Communicating regularly with parents
14. Regular, punctual and reliable attendance is an essential function of this role.

Education/Certifications
● Minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution in education or education-related program
● DPI license or working toward obtaining licensure within two years (Path to licensure documentation needed)
Experience
● Previous teaching experience preferred but not required

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, sit, and frequently bend or twist at the neck and trunk. The employee will use the hands to feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally exert or lift up to 40 pounds. Successful performance requires specific vision abilities that include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision
