Position Summary
The Assistant Director of Student Formation & Leadership serves as the execution leader for student experience, engagement, and events. This role is responsible for bringing student life to life through the House System, student activities, and leadership programming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 Catholic Education & Spiritual Formation
o Strive to achieve the philosophy, goals, and mission of Catholic education
o Establish an atmosphere where students can encounter the living Christ
o Promote, live, and uphold Gospel values, Catholic moral teaching, and the doctrinal teachings of the Catholic Church
o Form students to experience true freedom and prepare for life in today’s Church and society
o Foster a Catholic community in the school environment and broader community
 Student Engagement & House System
o Lead and oversee the House System
o Teach the Leadership Class while implementing and developing the curriculum
o Develop and manage the Student Leadership Team
o Coordinate and execute major House events, including:
 Spirit Week and Spirit Week Dance
 Spring Scramble
 The Blender
 Camp Falcon
 Falcon Flight School
o Supervise faculty/staff involved in House programming
 Student Activities & Events

o Plan and execute student life events aligned with school culture goals
o Coordinate student engagement initiatives across grade levels
o Support and streamline club structure
o Collaborate with the Dean of Students on dances and major student events
o Communicate clearly and effectively about all events to the faculty, staff, and community
through the newsletter, posters, announcements, and other media

 Service Program Execution
o Assume leadership of the service program after the initial implementation phase
o Coordinate logistics, participation, and tracking of student service
 Leadership Development
o Assist with student leadership formation initiatives
o Support retreats and Formation Days execution
o Develop leadership opportunities within House System and student activities
 Faculty Collaboration
o Lead and coordinate Faculty Advisory Committee (as defined)
o Work with faculty sponsors and staff to support student programming
 Administrative
o Assist with school calendar planning and coordination
o Collaborate with Director, Dean of Students, and Liturgy Coordinator
o Support communication and coordination across student programs
 Professional Growth
o Participate in professional development and school improvement efforts

Qualifications and Requirements
 Education: Bachelor’s Degree
 Experience: 3-5 years experience in the same kind of position or in youth formation preferred
 Skills and Competencies
o Strong event execution and organizational skills
o Practicing Catholic preferred
o Ability to manage multiple programs and logistics simultaneously
 Physical Requirements
o Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, including moving between campus
buildings and outdoor areas.
o Ability to use a computer and other standard office equipment for prolonged periods.
 Additional Requirements
o Must be a practicing Catholic who joyfully lives out and publicly professes the Catholic faith
o Complete all required trainings (e.g., Safe Environment Training) and adhere to the Code of
Ethics and confidentiality guidelines
o Demonstrate self-discipline, sound judgment, and effective communication
o Maintain appropriate grooming and dress as stated in the Employee Handbook
o Demonstrate applicable computer proficiency
