FINANCE MANAGER
Ecole Notre Dame des Victoires, a Catholic elementary school located in downtown San Francisco, seeks a full time Finance Manager.
Required Qualifications:
❖ BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum of 2–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (school or nonprofit experience preferred)
❖ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Paylocity, or similar systems) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
❖ Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations)
Duties/Responsibilities:
❖ Closing the books and ensuring the financial records of the school are accurate and reported in a timely manner
❖ Carry out all aspects of the monthly close process
❖ Oversee the school budget
❖ Oversee the maintenance of the Quickbooks system
❖ Provide summary reports to Pastor on a monthly basis and finance committee
quarterly.
❖ Oversee the day-to-day cash management of the School
❖ Assist with the management of the donations received by school process the deposits for the Les Amis annual campaign, fundraisers,
❖ Oversee the accounts payable function
❖ Prepare for the audit (every three years) and the act as the primary interface with the auditors.
❖ Perform other duties consistent with the above responsibilities.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods, work at a computer for long periods, stand, lift or carry up to 25lbs, reach, climb and descend stairs.
