We are seeking a versatile science and mathematics teacher whose love of science and mathematics is matched by their love of teaching and forming high school students in the Catholic faith. A strong preference will be given to those candidates strong in Biology and Chemistry. Teachers are expected to demonstrate competency and strength in the lab sciences and have comfortability with the full range of high school mathematics. This is an open position that may be for full or part time, depending on the needs of the school and the competency of the candidate.
Candidates should possess teaching ability, content excellence, classroom management, and the capacity to take on extra-curricular duties or mentorship in the Houses System (the House system is designed to promote character and virtue and to help students grow in holiness), plus other duties as assigned. Faculty members are required to attend daily Mass with the entire student body and participate in spiritual retreats or other school activities.
The candidate must be a practicing Catholic and willing to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium. Candidates ideally have previous teaching experience and demonstrate excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field by the time of employment.Educational credits/licensure are ideal but not required, though candidates may need to work toward educational credits upon employment. Position begins August 1, 2025.
Compensation and Summary of Benefits
Salary $40000-$50000 for full-time, part time employees will receive this at a pro-rated rate depending on hours. Offered salary is based on internal equity, market data, applicant’s skills and relevant experience, degrees and certifications.
