Physical Education, and Handwriting. On Fridays, students expand their horizons with dedicated
Geography lessons.
• Daily Religion classes are the heartbeat of the schedule. Every Thursday, we welcome parent
volunteers for “Read Aloud” sessions, and each week concludes with a “Fun Friday” period to
celebrate student achievements.
• A structured lunch and recess block (11:00 AM – 12:00 PM) provides vital time for students to
recharge and build friendships through play.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• A practicing Catholic in good standing with a deep commitment to the mission and identity of
Chelsea Academy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field; teaching certification or equivalent
experience in elementary education is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom with both charity and discipline, focusing on results
while maintaining a focus on the “whole child.”
• A team player with strong communication and organizational skills, able to build meaningful
relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• A flexible, enthusiastic “servant leader” who finds joy in working with young learners and is willing to
engage in the broader life of the school (activities, events, etc.).
• A strong resonance with Chelsea’s values and a desire to enforce school policies with empathy and
grace.
The schedule rotates specials throughout the week, ensuring students receive a well-rounded
