• Conduct weekly check-ins with all Lower School teachers to provide support and ensure
open communication with the administration.
• Serve as a bridge between Lower School faculty and the administrative team, ensuring
timely and effective communication.
• Develop and implement a mentorship program to support professional growth, training,
and collaboration among Lower School faculty.
• Assist with weekly scheduling, ensuring smooth coordination of classes, events, and
activities.
• Work closely with administration to address teacher needs, parent feedback, and any issues
that arise within the Lower School.
• Contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives that enhance the Lower
School experience in collaboration with the Headmaster.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• A practicing Catholic in good standing with a deep commitment to the mission and identity
of Chelsea Academy.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of five years of teaching experience in elementary or lower school settings and
strong understanding of Catholic education.
• Teaching certification or equivalent experience in elementary education preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to mentor and support colleagues with professionalism and empathy.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, parents, and administrators.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom with both charity and discipline, focusing on
results while maintaining a focus on the “whole child.”
• Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work as a team player with teachers and staff.
• Ability to enforce policies with charity and empathy.
• Ability to demonstrate loving care for students and their families.
• Willingness to engage with students and work with them during activities and events.
• Enthusiasm for working with young learners and fostering a love of learning.

Personal Qualities:
• Mature, steady presence with a collaborative and servant-leadership mindset.
• Deep commitment to the intellectual, moral, and spiritual formation of students.
