St. Philip Catholic Central High School is seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and faith-filled Language Arts Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will be energetic, collaborative, and committed to student growth in a faith-filled learning environment.

JOB SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

● Plan and deliver engaging Language Arts instruction aligned with state and diocesan standards
● Use student data to guide instruction and support growth
● Assess student work and provide timely feedback
● Differentiate instruction using a variety of strategies and resources
● Integrate instructional technology to enhance learning
● Maintain accurate records of student progress
● Communicate regularly with students, families, and colleagues
● Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment
● Participate in department, school, and diocesan collaboration and professional development
● Integrate Catholic values into instruction

QUALIFICATIONS
● Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or related field
● Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Language Arts endorsement
● Ability to work with diverse learners
● Strong communication and collaboration skills
● Commitment to professional growth and instructional excellence
● AP Language endorsement preferred or willingness to obtain
● VIRTUS training and background check required
