Title:    Chemistry Teacher (Part-Time)

Organizational Summary: Aquinas Classical Academy is a classical liberal arts high school in the Catholic tradition serving Catholic families primarily on the Kitsap Peninsula. Founded and incorporated in 2018, Aquinas Classical Academy is a Washington approved high school, recently accredited by NAPCIS (National Association of Catholic and Independent Schools) in 2024.

Position Summary: 1 section of 11th grade Chemistry; the position is a .2 position.

Qualifications and Desired Behaviors

·       BA or MA in specific subject, with emphasis on teaching.

·       Trained in Classical Education or willing to be trained, including familiarity with Socratic Seminar and or related pedagogy.

·       Understands the importance of integrating content within the four-year course of study, especially as it relates to the Catholic Church, the Fathers of the Church, and Scripture.

·       Professional

·       Available to be taught
