Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary School has been serving children and families in Welby, Colorado, for over a century. Since our founding in 1920 by the Servite Order, our parish and school have grown into a thriving community just north of Denver. We are engaged in ongoing renewal of Catholic education, with a recent emphasis on curriculum and renovation of our school environments with the Beauty of our Catholic artistic tradition.

MISSION STATEMENT
Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Parish and School seeks to hand on the Catholic and Apostolic Faith in all its integrity by celebrating reverently the Sacred Liturgy, evangelizing our family and friends with the joy of the Gospel, and educating our youth in the truth, goodness, and beauty of the Lord Jesus Christ, so that in this apostolic age Christ might be preferred to everything.
