"Catholic education aims not only to communicate facts, but also to transmit a coherent, comprehensive vision of life, in the conviction that the truths contained in that vision liberate students in the most profound meaning of human freedom.”
Saint John Paul II wrote these words to the American bishops in 1988. His words echo still. Challenged by these words, it is the desire of Saint John Paul the Great Academy to take up the standard of catholic education as proposed by Holy Mother Church.
All this we desire to do in the modern-day areopagus of New York City. We hold firm to the mandate of Jesus Christ to teach all nations trusting that He will be with us until the end of the age (cf. Matthew 28:18).
