Our Mission
Trivium School graduates young ladies and gentlemen informed and practiced in the pathways of what is good, true and beautiful. This is accomplished by a rigorous course of pre-liberal arts disciplines based on the classical seven liberal arts and on the fine arts of the beautiful. These studies aim at acquiring the intellectual habits of learning and being informed by the perennial principles and ideas at the very core of the Graeco-Roman, Judeo-Christian culture. Trivium is a Catholic School loyal to the Sacred Scriptures and Holy Tradition as mediated by the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church.

Trivium School, founded in 1979, is an independent co-educational day school. Trivium is dedicated to providing a Catholic and classical pre-liberal arts education to boys and girls in grades seven through twelve. The School is situated in a spacious and beautiful Georgian estate in Lancaster, Massachusetts, forty miles west of Boston.
Our goal is to introduce students to a Catholic understanding of the liberal arts and to lead them on the pathway of truth, goodness, and beauty. We use the Socratic discussion method so that students learn why something is. Real education ennobles us, corresponds to our Christian dignity, and enriches us for a lifetime.
