Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified High School Physics Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in physics, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to integrating Catholic values into the learning experience.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging and effective physics lessons for high school students, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards and Catholic teachings.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active student participation, critical thinking, and a love for learning.
Integrate Catholic values and principles into the teaching of physics, helping students make connections between science and faith.
Utilize a variety of instructional methods, technology, and real-world applications to enhance the learning experience.
Assess and evaluate student progress through various forms of assessment, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary connections and contribute to the overall academic program.
Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Physics Education, or a related field.
Valid teaching certification for high school physics. (Not required)
Strong knowledge of physics principles and a passion for inspiring students’ curiosity in the subject.
Commitment to integrating Catholic teachings into the curriculum and fostering the spiritual development of students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
Willingness to contribute to the vibrant Catholic school community through participation in school events and activities.
