JOB DESCRIPTION:
St. Timothy Catholic School is a TK-8 Roman Catholic elementary school located in San Mateo, CA. Inspired by Gospel values, we serve the children of our parish and neighboring communities and work in partnership with our school families to create a positive and safe learning environment where students develop their skills as loving Christians, innovative learners, giving citizens, humble students and thoughtful communicators.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
● Minimum of a 4-year undergraduate degree, advanced degree desired
● Valid California multiple subject credential preferred
● Experience and passion for teaching elementary school-age students
● Desire to embrace the Catholic ethos of the school and promote the Catholic spiritual development of students
● Strong unit, lesson, and assessment planning abilities aligned with History/Social Studies for Middle School (6th – 8th grades).
● Knowledge of differentiated instruction and working with students with diverse learning needs
● Ability to innovatively integrate technology into instruction on a daily basis
● Strong classroom management skills
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Sense of humor and willingness to be flexible and supportive of the overall school program
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Salary commensurate with the Archdiocese of San Francisco Elementary Salary Scale; medical/dental benefits eligible; $54,500-$104,931 (full-time position).
