Job Description:
St. Stephen Catholic School is seeking an experienced and passionate elementary teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing a high-quality education to our students while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver engaging lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and standards
Teach religion and incorporate Catholic Christian values into daily lessons
Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
Collaborate with colleagues and staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs
Participate in school events and activities as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
Michigan teaching certification
Experience teaching early elementary students
Knowledge of Catholic Christian values and teachings
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment
Passion for teaching and inspiring students to learn and grow
