Science Teacher

Saint Rita School in Alexandria, Virginia, is a Catholic School in the Classical tradition. We are seeking an elementary science teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. We teach students to serve God and others and to always seek the good, the true, and the beautiful.  In Science, our classical approach seeks to instill solid content knowledge while fueling students’ natural curiosity and sense of awe, wonder, and appreciation for the created world.  An ability to break down complex concepts for children is essential, as is an ability to establish an enthusiastic and joyful rapport with them, but a teaching license is not a requirement, as it can be obtained on the job.
