Position Summary:
The High School Theology Teacher at St. Peter’s School is responsible for teaching theology courses to students in grades 9–12, guiding them in their academic and spiritual formation. The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic who is passionate about sharing the faith and supporting students in leading lives of purpose rooted in Catholic values.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have a strong interest in educating young people. Prior experience teaching similarly-aged students is preferred, but not required. All candidates must either hold a current Ohio teaching license or have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and a willingness to obtain the required teaching certification. They must also complete an FBI and BCI background checks and the Diocese of Toledo VIRTUS program.
Salary and Benefits
This position is a full-time, salaried position with a 12-month contract including options for annual renewals. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Competitive benefits are offered to all full-time employees including tuition discounts for school-age dependents.
